How Cantilever Racking Works
Cantilever systems use columns and projecting arms to keep the loading face open for long or irregular goods.
Cantilever racking is used when a front beam would block the load face. Pipes, timber, bars, profiles, sheet metal and coils need open access, arm spacing and support points that match the length, weight and handling method.
The right comparison is usually between standard cantilever arms, sheet-metal supports, coil cradles and mobile pallet bases for special long-load use. Provide product length, load depth, weight range, bundle shape and whether loading is by forklift, crane or manual handling before requesting a layout.
